Driving to the northeast from Santiago, we will get to the Libertadores Highway that is going to take us through all the plantations and orchards of the Aconcagua Valley, its name comes. From the highest peak in the Americas ( 22,800 feet.),on a clear day in the valley you can see the stunning peak of Aconcagua. While we have a spectacular drive into the colorful Andes Mountain, we make our first stop in a typical place where you will see how the local people make and cook their famous Chilean empanadas” meat pie”, in adobe ovens. Visit the Chacabuco monument, placed there for the victory we have gotten against the Spaniards until we got our independence from Spain.

We enter to the fifth Region and we stop for the best picture of the Aconcagua and the snow peaks. Then we take the international highway towards Argentina. We follow all the way the Aconcagua river, a nice view of the national monument Salto del Soldado .Once we get into a switchback of 29 turns you will be able to see some condors on the way until we get all the way up to the renowned ski resort Portillo (9.350 feet).From there you will admire the beauty of the Inca Lake and its Esmeralda waters. Free time to discovered the area, then we will have a delicious lunch overlooking the Inca lake while you enjoy the majestic of the Andes
