You begin your adventure in the oldest area of Santiago call ”Barrio Concha y Toro “. Walking on the cobble stone streets you will see the old life style of Chilean people, you will Have time to take photos of the many styles of architecture from dating back to the 19th and early 20th century. After that you will get into de neighborhood “Republica “ to see the homes of the high society then, leaving behind the old area you will visit the civic area the Presidential Palace call “La Moneda”; Plaza de la Constitucion “. Visit a museum, the Pre Colombian Art Museum where you will find a mommy of a child of thousands of years old “Chinchorro” culture or a beautiful palace built in 1870-1879 the “Palacio Cousiño “. And then will stop at the main square,call “Plaza de Armas “enjoy a nice walk by the main Cathedral and Post office.Pass by the main market “Mercado Central”, Going along “Parque Forestal”you will go all the way toward the top of the hill “San Cristobal“ where you can see the best overview of the city ,at the look out ,“Hundimiento”, enjoy the beautiful landscape of the park, going down the hill you will get to the district called “Providencia“ known for its green areas and beautiful churches . You will visit the modern area call “Las Condes” in order to see how Santiago has been growing since 1541 when Pedro De Valdivia Arrived. Then We will drive One-hour south to the Maipo Valley, driving along the canyon you will get to a typical Chilean restaurant ,lunch at “La vaquita echa “where you will try the best traditional food of the area. After lunch you will see the narrow valley between high cliffs , at the foothill of the Andes. Located by the fertile waters of the Maipo River is the Concha y toro vineyard founded in 1883 by Don Melchor Concha y Toro, a Chilean lawyer, entrepreneur and politician, decided to exploit the winemaking potential of the Maipo Valley. He brought in French vines stocks from Bordeaux .The winery became successful a time when there was a keen interest in our national wine production, in the rich farmland of the picturesque little town call “Pirque “, it still maintain all the traditions of the renowned Chilean Wines like Don Melchor, Amelia, Terrunyo, Marquez de Casa Concha, Trio and Casillero del Diablo are the most well- known brands that this traditional winery is producing at this time. We will visit the old house of the family, the park and the “Casillero del Diablo “, cellar that is a legend of this vineyard while we try its wines.
