El Quillay, Organic VOE, House of Morandé and RE Wineries

We will drive north–west of Santiago one hour to “El Quillay“ a Chilean tipycal Stop at the Curacaví valley in order to see how they make and try one of the most typical dishes of Chile, Empanadas, the best ones of our country are made there with the old fashion way, in adobe ovens.You will have an exclusive outdoors tasting along this great dish.Then we will continue the Casablanca Valley to visit the organic winery, Viña VOE,ever since ViñedosEmiliana began in 1986; one of its primary concerns has been the care and management of the land.

This is essential for complying with the basic Emiliana premise: “Quality begins in the vineyard.” Viñedos Emiliana employs this philosophy, technology, and its many years of experience to produce high quality fruit with minimum impact on the environment, which leads it to follow the concepts of Emiliana. Then we will continue our journey to the winery House of Morandé, founded in 1996 with the aim of producing innovative wines of a great quality with a clear focus of the development. In order to receive the lovers of wine and good eating Viña Morandé open a gastronomic centre, the restaurant offers first class cuisine accompanied by their best wines. It is the perfect place to do our wine pairings. The restaurant was recently awarded the prize for the best restaurant outside the capital by the newspaper,El Mercurio, through its “ Wiken” magazine,the building is a glass-and-wood indoor dining area, and pleasant patio dining overlooking a grassy expanse and grapevines .The well-balanced menu features lots of seafood. we will try their wine varieties over lunch. Then we will continue to a new project of Pablo Morande “Re winery “ there, you will see a unique way of doing, they make their wine in clay containers, not stainless steel, and uses grapes grown on vines up to 65 years old from Maule region (south) ,then we will continue to Millahue to try our traditions and food.
